Hi!!! Welcome to the behind the scenes look into Jolts & Jollies. My name is Maranda and I will be your host.
A little about me, I was born and raised an Army brat (my blood runs green). I have lived in many different states but spent every summer at my grandma's house in Lawton, Oklahoma. As a child I would sit and watch my grandmother cook and the passion for cooking was passed down to me.
I started this blog as a way to share delicious recipes that I have found with my friends and family. I'm not creative enough to design my own recipes but I like to give step by step directions on how to prepare yummy meals (for those like my older sister who did NOT get the cooking gene).
After being raised in the Army, I married an Army guy. This Army guy to be exact.
The Hubble
We have been married for 7 1/2 years and are still loving every minute of it. The Hubble has decided he's pretty much career Army (I expect nothing less) so our plan is to take on the world, one Army installation at a time!
In April 2007 we welcomed our daughter into our lives.
Little Butt on Day 1
I officially believe she is growing up entirely too quickly and demand that she stops this nonsense at once! But of course, girls never listen to their mothers.
Oh. And here is me:

ReplyDeleteAfter all these months I finally perused your page a little deeper. Your blood runs Green. Awesome. I'm an Army Brat (sort of via Stepdad) and Father-in-Law. Then my youngest was in for 6 years.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of your Family, and the Domestic Diva Extrordinaire.
I'll have to compliment your pages here, just like I compliment you FLICKR entries.
Take care
